I am an experimental physicist working in the fields of cosmology, x-ray optics, and atmospheric physics. I specialize in applying machine learning and other computational methods to get more science out of data from high-precision, high-throughput experiments like radio telescopes and particle accelerators. For fun I mostly play music (cello, guitar, and harmonica); I also lift weights, run, and read philosophy and poetry.
